Part of the SDARC-Members-only Award Scheme to encourage on-air operating, to have some competitive fun playing radio, to raise the profile of SDARC on the air and to reward members making consistent use of their radio gear. Go on, have a go !! This is one you CAN win !
You are no longer able to submit QSOs for this award scheme.
Rules
- Every licensed member of SDARC is encouraged to enter, using your own Call Sign (no SCCs.)
- Your Aim is to work as many other SDARC Members as you can during the Award period.
- Work stations normally, short ‘rubber stamp’ QSOs, mobile updates or full ‘rag chew’ sessions !
- QSOs may be made from 1 June to 31 August 2016. You have THREE months in all.
- You may operate from anywhere in the UK – including from your holiday QTH !
- You can use Phone (simplex), Phone( repeater or Echolink), CW or Data (RTTY or PSK)
- You can use 70cm, 2m, 4m or 6m.
- ‘Phone’ can be analogue (FM, AM or SSB) or DMR.
- ‘repeaters’ include analogue repeaters (eg WH, TD etc) or Echolink. …or the DMR repeaters (eg TC) and the network of other DMR Repeaters worldwide.
- No TX Power categories. Your licence limit applies. Change power as often as you wish.
- Each Member worked counts ONE point* in any given Mode
- Duplicate QSOs using the same Mode do not count, but QSOs in a DIFFERENT Modes DO count.
- * G8SRC, the Club call sign will ‘pop up’ randomly on various modes.
It will NOT be in competition with Members, just there to give away bonuses !
If you work G8SRC, that QSO counts TWO points on each Mode worked.
SKED requests with G8SRC will NOT be accepted !! - You must upload your results to the Club Website by 12.00 GMT on 14th September 2016
- QSOs will not normally need validating but Judges reserve the right to request confirmation.
- The Judges’ decision in all matters is final.

- These Rules and a Progress Form may be downloaded from www.sdarc.net
- Keep a copy of your Progress Form but upload your logged QSOs to sdarc.net
Results
Results will be announced at Club Christmas Dinner in December 2016

Awards
There will be 4 Winners’ Awards…
- for the highest number of Members worked on phone, simplex.
- for the highest number of Members worked on phone using repeaters or Echolink.
- for the highest number of Members worked on CW.
- for the highest number of Members worked using RTTY or PSK.
No-one will receive more than one OF THESE Awards. Go for it!
