Andy, G0UWS just sent me a link to BeaconSpot which is a great website run by the UK Microwave Group containing beacon information for VHF/UHF/SHF beacons across Europe.
You can search for beacons on the band you are interested, see them plotted on an interactive Google map interface, download beacon lists, see the status of the beacon and even spots.
Certain functionality is not available to you, such as calculating beam headings and distances, or spotting beacons. In order to use the full features, you need to have an amateur radio callsign, and to register.
They also have some of the beacons available as an audio file so you could compare the audio on your computer with what you are receiving on your computer.
Useful find Andy!
