Worked all Euope 2007
Den, M0ACM's fiendish plan for the 2007 awards is 'Worked all Europe'!
This should give everyone who has an HF rig (or prays for some good tropo on VHF!) a chance at warming up the airwaves with even a 1/2 G5RV, long wire or whatever. Why not try a half or full sloper cut for the band and pointing pretty much East? Plenty of information on the web, or in the antenna books.
Anyway, here are the rules, and you can download all the files necessary below.
Rules
- Use Countries List
- Work stations to ‘capture’ as many countries as you can
- There are 76 possible countries to ‘capture’
- Each country can be worked on any band, any mode
- Each country counts ONE point - whatever the band or mode.
- Each country counts only once
- Every licensed member of SDARC can enter
- All Modes accepted… SSB - PSK - CW - RTTY - SSTV…
- All Bands usable… 136KHz to 250GHz
- From anywhere in UK (ie: QTHR, /P or /M)
Awards
Results collated and Awards presented in December/January
3 shields…
- for the highest number of countries overall
- for the highest number of countries in Mar, Apr, May
- for the highest number of countries in Sep, Oct, Nov
No member will be awarded twice.

Two ‘halves’
March, April and May
September, October and November
Logging
Tick off countries from the list on this sheet as you work them
(Countries list on club website in Excel so you can sort it as you like)
Complete a WAE Progress Log (copy from your shack log)
Hand in the WAE Log and this sheet at the end of each ‘half’.
(…June and December)
Results & photos will be sent to Radcom and placed on club website after presentations.
