Worked all Counties 2005
The winners of the WAC club competetion were announced at the excellent club Xmas meal on Thursday 15th Dec. The competition ran in two stages, effectively Spring and Autumn, and the rules were simple - work as many UK counties as possible! Individual shields were awarded for highest numbers in each leg, with a seperate prize for the overall winner, who therefore did not receive a leg prize,
In the first leg, Chris Hoare took the prize with 6 points (June). Second leg was scooped by Jon, 2E0DBD with an impressive 48 points, only entering a log for the second leg. Overall prize went to Dave, M0XUK with 73 points, only entering a log for the first leg.
