DX Lab Suite- THE most comprehensive FREE suite of programmes for the DX'er
Ham Radio Deluxe- rig control, logging and more. AND it's free!
Radio Mobile - absolutely awesome FREE prog for predicting radio performance. You'll need this site too: NGA

WinCap Wizard- excellent propagation prediction tool. worth every penny

AADE - download a free filter design programme. buy the LC meter - it's great too - I use mine daily
GNU Octave - very powerful maths software with a deceptively simple GUI. Brilliant for electronics calculations.
Electronics Assistant - You just have to download this to make your life a little easier....
HamInfoBar - This is one of those bars that sit below your main browser menu bar and give you lots of extra functions (for example like the Google search bar).
However, this one is completely ham orientated and after having installed and had a play with it on Firefox (available for IE too) I have to say I'm well impressed. John has certainly put his heart into making this a useful tool for hams/swl's.
