Did anyone do anything in the WW 160m contest this last weekend (30/31 Jan)?
I had hoped to make a few contacts when I got back from London on Sunday but found my inverted L antenna wouldn't load up.
Further inspection this morning showed that it has got blown into the tree (again - I only trimmed some of that tree last week) and this time it is tangled even higher up at around 12m I think.
Anyone got a spare pair of wings I could borrow to trim the tree!

Hi Tony,
No antenna up for 160m but I did give a few points away to our French cousins in the REF CW championship, Had about 130 Q's but it gave me one new one on 40m - FM - oneof the F overseas DOM's. Worked Denis but looks as though he was pipped into 2nd place in the SOAB section - he won't be happy! Also had a dable in the BARTG Sprint RTTY coontest the weekend before just a couple of hundred Q's/ 73 Ian |
