Foundation Licence Course 2006

The club has run several foundation courses in the past, and in the recent examination (September) all eleven candidates were succesful.
Several 'supervisory' intermediate courses have been run where the candidates have studied for themselves but were guided by the instructors, who also carried out the practical assesments.
If you are interested in taking your exams, please contact:

In any case any planned courses will be listed here, but it will do no harm to register your interest!

Foundation 'follow-up' sessions at the club

Recognizing the need to channel M3's enthusiasm having acquired their licences, the club intends to run regular sessions where a couple of more experienced hands will answer any questions, and possibly run some 'mini-talks/practical demonstrations' about a particular aspect of the hobby.
In the first session on 6th Oct, topics discussed were planning issues, PME, antenna siting and general rig usage issues.
